“Throughout the ages, the Jaguar has moved between forests, rivers, and streams, living in tandem with us and our ancestors. Indigenous peoples have revered him as the sacred reference point since the beginning of time, and he is still seen as the innate regulator of nature today. It has been honoured, consulted, and loved by Latin American rural and urban communities for its imposing character, strength, and beauty. This is a call to action to conserve this majestic animal and honour Latin America’s ancient ruler." - Katherine Gailer.
