A new WWW: Whispering Wind Wisdom
An expansive project exploring the interwoven tapestry of spiritual beliefs, cultural practices and historical experiences of the Kui Indigenous community.

Miguel’s long-term work with the Kui indigenous community includes support for a Kui Youth Group dedicated to cultural learning and digital empowerment.
Learning camps bring youth from Phnom Penh to live and learn with the Kui community, deepening understanding of their relationship with the forest and traditional stewardship practices, including forest patrols to protect against illegal logging and deforestation.
Activities include writing workshops focused on interviewing elders and documenting cultural heritage, as well as training in content creation. Participants also develop skills in website management, design, and illustration. These skills have helped build the community-led platform Kuipedia- a crowdsourced library of stories about Indigenous wisdom.
Artists are invited to visit the community as part of residencies, fostering dialogue, exchange, and collaborative learning.

Through connected artistic collaborations, resident artists and contributors from further afield explored speculative scenarios for a more holistic Cambodia - one grounded in inclusivity, environmental sustainability, and harmony with nature, combining science and spirit, tradition and innovation.
As an evolving platform, the project continues to expand through community activities and public events, encouraging dialogue between art, ecology, technology, and Indigenous wisdom - helping to realise regenerative pathways forward.
